Anglian Earl towed Maersk Jennings under charter of KOTUG

December 19th KOTUG was approached by Maersk Line Rotterdam with the request to tow mv Maersk Jenninngs from Cuxhaven to Bremerhaven.

Since mv Maersk Jennings has a Loa of 225 meter a tug with a minimum bollard pull of 100 ton was needed. After consulting the position reports of many tug operators, we found the Anglian Earl available in Rotterdam. A few phone calls and quick negotiations later the Anglian Earl left Rotterdam bound for Cuxhaven under charter of KOTUG.

The Anglian Earl arrived at Cuxhaven pilot station December 20th after which she moved to Maersk Jennings and started preparing for sea towage. After a prosperous voyage the Maersk Jennings was safely handed over to KOTUG tugs in Bremerhaven and Anglian Earl setted sail to Hull.
