KOTUG brought MV Splittnes safely alongside

November 22nd in dense fog a collision took place on the German river Weser between an inbound container vessel and MV Splittnes. MV Splittnes became heavily damaged and was abandoned by part of the crew.

KOTUG's tugs RT Pioneer and ZP Montali immediately responded to the casualty and brought MV Splittnes safely alongside.
