Harbour towage

In 1988 KOTUG started a complete range of independent, competitive harbour towage services in the port of Rotterdam by breaking the existing monopoly situation. Since then more and more ship owners and operators have benefited from our innovative manner of operations and high level of performance. After Rotterdam, KOTUG expanded its client friendly harbour towage activities to the port of Hamburg in 1996 and Bremerhaven in 1999. In all of these ports the KOTUG tugs assist a diversity of vessel types of all sizes up to and including the latest generation of container ships. With our modern and highly manoeuverable tugs, the operations can be carried out safely with a minimum of tugs needed.
